General Notes: Husband - Samuel Cope


In 1784 he came with his father and brothers to Jefferson township, Fayette County, Pennsylvania. He became a wealthy farmer, also a manufacturer of scythes and sickles. He was a Whig in politics, and a member of the Society of Friends.
