General Notes: Husband - George W. Hines

He was reared on the family farm and always made farming his occupation. In connection with his farming interests, however, for a number of years he engaged in the saw-mill business, having first been associated with Al Hay and John Ralston. He continued in the same business, his later partners being John H. McDeavitt, Joseph Boyd and William McDeavitt. He resided on 100 acres of the old homestead farm, lying partly in West Liberty Borough, and eventually purchased a tract of 128 acres, known as the William B. Cooper farm, in Slippery Rock Township about one mile west of the borough of Slippery Rock.
