General Notes: Husband - Henry Baldi Douty

He was a Huguenot refugee who came from France with his father and brother and located at an early date in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
"Two sons are definitely known, namely: Nicholas and Henry Baldi Douty, both of whom were born in France. The former removed to the mouth of Seneca Lake in New York (present Geneva), and the latter, who was an accomplished scholar and schoolmaster, was one of the first residents of Milton, [Northumberland County] Pa. He suddenly disappeared in 1790, and was supposed to have been murdered."
(From "Memorials of the Huguenots in America," by Stapleton, page 97.)
