General Notes: Husband - William Wilberforce Coon


He was a soldier in the Civil War: 155th Regiment Pennsylvania Volunteers. He was mortally wounded in the Battle of Fredericksburg Dec. 13, 1862 by a musket ball through the right lung; died Jan. 15, 1863.

His brother, D. B., moved his remains from the Plum Creek Cemetery to the New Texas Cemetery.
