In 1875 the faculty of Northern Illinois College at Fulton, Illinois, included L. B. Kuhn, Professor of Mathematics. [HISTORY OF WHITESIDE COUNTY, ILL., 1877]

For a time he was Professor of Mathematics at northern Illinois College, Fulton, Illinois. But for most of his later life he was associated with Deere Implement Co., of Moline, Illinois.
