General Notes: Husband - Paul Hough


He carried on extensive flour-mills in Fayette City, Pennsylvania, from 1832 to 1845, when he sold his mills and came to Westmoreland County, purchasing the farm later owned by Gen. C. P. Markle, and known as the "Dairy Farm." In 1874 he sold this real estate and came to West Newton.

He had two sons who died before his death, one of whom was a Union soldier in the Civil War. When he died, he left a wife and seven children.
