General Notes: Husband - Joseph Harding

---

He lived during his youth with Deacon John Doane, of Eastham, Massachu­setts, to whose care he had been consigned by his widowed mother, who was probably a sister of the deacon. About 1650 he came to Braintree, Massachusetts, in order apparently to take possession of lands inherited from his father; from that time onward for the next ten years his name is found in the Braintree probate records from time to time. He returned eventually to Eastham.
