General Notes: Husband - George Hawk


He came to Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, from Somerset County, before his marriage. He took part in the Indian troubles of the period. Settling four miles from Freeport, on Buffalo creek, he continued to reside there until his death at the age of eighty years. He was a member of the Pres­byterian Church and a Democrat in political sentiment.
