General Notes: Husband - Abraham Colvin


He was born on the family homestead in Fallowfield township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, and his education was received in the log-cabin schoolhouse of the district.
The home farm contained 110 acres of land, located about five miles southwest of Monongahela City, where he dealt extensively in stock. Politically, he voted with the Republican party.
He and his wife were members of the Disciple Church.
