General Notes: Husband - Robert Leeper


At the age of six years he came to Greene township, Beaver County, Pennslvania, where his father bought land. He taught school for nine years, four years in Greene township, one in Hanover township, two in Allegheny County, one in Washington County, and one year more near Xenia, Ohio.
He later owned the old family homestead farm of 150 acres, where he resided, and another of eighty-eight acres.
He and his wife were members of the United Presbyterian church, he being an elder. Politically he was successively a Whig, Republican and Prohibitionist.
