General Notes: Husband - Cornelius Collins


This Collins family were originally French Huguenots, drifting from France to Scotland, then to Ireland, from whence they emigrated to America in 1640, locating in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.

He purchased a farm in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, in the year 1756, located three miles from Quarryville, and there resided until his death.


General Notes: Wife - Mary Speer


She was a half-sister of the wife of James Buchanan.
