General Notes: Husband - Robert McCoy


He was a private in Captain David Cowpland's company of Chester County, Pennsylvania, militia in the Revolutionary war. He was afterwards a lieutenant in the Pennsylvania militia, May 1, 1789. He was a deacon in the Brandywine Baptist church, Concord township, from 1810 to 1823. He was buried near the church when it was enlarged, and the graves of himself and wife were covered by it.
