General Notes: Husband - Nathaniel Calendar Coleman


He received the educational advantages granted to the youths of his day and locality in the public schools. Essentially a farmer, he found time to serve his community in various offices of public trust and responsibility, among the offices he held being those of justice of the peace, school director and overseer of the poor. He always voted the Republican ticket, and his religious faith was that of the Methodist Episcopal Church.
