General Notes: Husband - Hon. William Irwin


He and his wife lived at Jacksonville, Pennsylvania, where he had a store, for two years. From there they removed to a farm in Black Lick township, Indiana County, where they resided for about ten years. They next removed to Indiana, Pennsylvania, and he had a store for a few years. He was appointed Associate Judge by Gov. John F. Hartranft in 1874, to serve out the remainder of the term of a judge who died.
