General Notes: Husband - Stephen Colegrove


In 1737 he was made "a free-man of the colony" of Providence, Rhode Island, according to the town records. He was chosen town councilman at the first town meeting, which formed the town of Foster in 1781. In 1754 he purchased some land in the town of Scituate where his later years were passed.
