General Notes: Husband - Stephen Cochran

He came to Pennsylvania with his brothers, James and David, and settled on the Octoraro, in Chester County.

The three Cochran brothers obtained a large grant of land on the Gap and Newport Turnpike, where the village of Cochranville perpetuates the family name. James Cochran's lands were south of those of Stephen and David.

He commanded a company during the Revolution, and was elected to the Assembly in 1777 and 1778.

He emigrated to Pennsylvania with his brothers, and settled in Fallowfield township, Chester County, Pennsylvania.
He was a member of the board of trustees of Fagg's Manor Presbyterian Church in 1760.

It is possible that his wife was Isabella Ross, born January 4, 1700, and died May 12, 1760.
