General Notes: Husband - Samuel Cochran

He and his three brothers, Thomas, Robert and William, were Protestants, and were possessed of considerable property, but were compelled to leave their property behind them and flee to America. A priest of the Catholic church was a true friend to them, and took charge of their property interests in Ireland. The Cochran brothers bought land in Chester County, Pennsylvania, and laid out a town which they called Cochranville. He and his brothers, Robert and William, remained in Chester County, where they reared families and died. Thomas moved to Millerstown, Perry County.
