General Notes: Husband - Samuel Cochran


He was born in the area of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, that later became Dauphin County. [OVG, 20]

He was a native of Ireland and of Scotch descent; first settled in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, and then came to Mifflin township, Allegheny County, where he bought 320 acres of land, which property was in possession of the family for many years.
He was an elder in Lebanon Presbyterian Church.
He died aged eighty years.

He served in the Revolutionary War; located on the Monongahela River, ten miles above Pittsburgh, before 1800.
