General Notes: Husband - Philip Minton

He and his brother, Matthias, emigrated from Morris County, New Jersey, to Morris township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, in 1786. They purchased a part of the tract "Fox Chase," warranted by the Lindley family.

He was a native of New Jersey, and about the beginning of the 1800s came to Washington County, Pennsylvania, settling in Morris township, where he
passed the remainder of his life, Indians and wild animals being at that time still numerous and troublesome.

General Notes: Wife - Eunice Clutter
