General Notes: Husband - James Huston

He was brought up on a farm in Venango County, Pennsylvania, and received a common school education. When he was eighteen years of age he settled near Lamberton, Fayette County, Pennsylvania, and was employed in coal works. After this he entered the oil business, and became an oil producer and contractor. For a time he lived in Allegany County, New York. In 1887 he came to Salem township, Clarion County, Pennsylvania, and there he was an oil producer and farmer. He was a Republican, and a member of the Methodist Episcopal church.
