General Notes: Husband - William B. Winter

---

He worked on his father's farm and attended the common schools during his minority. During the first years of his married life he lived on some rented property, and followed farming. In 1886 he purchased a farm which adjoined that of his birthplace. He was a modern scientific farmer, and also gave considerable attention to wool growing. Politically he was a Democrat. He and his wife were members of the U. B. Church, in which he was both steward and trustee.
