General Notes: Husband - Robert Johnston


His farm was the old Johnston homestead. The warrant was issued to John Harper February 28, 1785, and the patent was issued to David Johnston in 1867.

Civil War: he was in company A, 135th Pennsylvania volunteers, for nearly one year; in company D, 54th Pennsylvania militia, for forty-five days, and in company K, 14th Pennsylvania cavalry, for eighteen months.
