General Notes: Husband - Ira T. Leech


He attended the common schools and learned the carpenter's trade, after which he engaged in contracting and building at Greenville, Mercer County, Pennsylvania, continuing to be thus engaged until 1902, when he became a partner of Joseph L. Riley in the lumber business. He was a Republican; was a councilman for some years and served multiple terms as a member of the school board, of which he was the president. In his religious faith he was a United Presbyterian. He was also connected with the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, as a member of Alhambra Lodge No. 293, and belonged to Lodge No. 145, Benevolent Protective Order of Elks.
