General Notes: Husband - Greenberry Crossland

He attended the public schools of Fayette County, Pennsylvania, until he was seventeen years old, when he engaged in farming on the home place in North Union township, near Uniontown. At the same time he became interested as a dealer in live stock, in which he was very successful. Mr. Crossland owned a valuable farm, located near Uniontown, and east of the National Pike, of one hundred and thirty-five acres, and was for several years purchasing agent of live stock for the H. C. Frick Coal and Coke Company, and supplied that company with four thousand head per annum.
