General Notes: Husband - Andrew Pierce


He was born in Elizabeth township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, where he resided until 1839. He then came to North Fayette township and purchased two hundred acres of land, where he resided till his death.
He was among the most prominent and successful farmers in North Fayette township, and was also engaged in dairying. He was a member of the M. E. Church, and was a republican.

He had four children with his first wife.
