General Notes: Husband - Jacob J. Gosser

He received his education at Leechburg and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In April, 1867, he located a drug store in Emlenton, in partnership with Dr. L. W. Sampson and S. H. Crawford. Afterward he purchased the interests of these men and carried on the business alone on Water street, until October 31st, 1873, when his store was destroyed by fire. He then erected a store room on Main street and continued his trade.
