General Notes: Husband - Dr. Joseph Crain


He was educated at Dickinson College, and graduated from Jefferson Medical College in 1826. He settled first at Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, where he practiced his profession several years, then in 1842 he located permanently at Hoguestown, Cumberland County, where he became well known as a skillful practitioner. He was a member of old Silvers Spring Church, where his remains lie buried.
