General Notes: Husband - Charles S. Chambers

He was reared and educated in his native township. In the spring of 1868 his parents settled on a farm, which became a valuable tract of 100 acres. Here their son, Charles, carried on a general agricultural line, finding both profit and contentment in improving and cultivating the place on which he spent the greater part of his life. He was a member of the Mount Jackson United Presbyterian Church.
