General Notes: Husband - David Jones

---

He and his wife were married in Vermont, and in 1806 came in a sleigh to Centre County, Pennsylvania, where they spent their remaining days. He was a farmer, a Whig in poli­tics, and for ten years served as justice of the peace of Union township. He was a devout member of the Methodist Church, in which he was class leader for twenty-one years.
