General Notes: Husband - Erskin Carson


He was a soldier in the war of the Rebellion, a member of the Seventy-third Regiment, Ohio Volunteers. He was seriously wounded at second Bull Run battle, August 30, 1862, from which he suffered many years. He was elected clerk of Ross County, Ohio, in 1863, and served three years; he became a resident of Hillsboro, Ohio, and agent of the C., W. & B. Railroad.
