General Notes: Husband - James Carroll


He was educated in the common schools of Elizabeth, Pennsylvania, and about his fifteenth year apprenticed himself to the trade of carpenter in Pittsburgh, where he remained until 1878, working at his chosen calling. He then went to Mount Pleasant where he worked for eight years as a carpenter and builder, and about 1886 moved to Greensburg where he then engaged in building. He was a Republican in politics, and was a member of the United Presbyterian church.
