General Notes: Husband - Hamilton Carroll


Soon after his marriage he began farming on a farm which was situated about half a mile northwest of Gale postoffice, in East Finley township, Washington County, Pennsylvania. Here he passed the remainder of his life, successfully pursuing the vocation of agriculture. During the war he took an active part in the home musters. In politics he was a stanch Republican, and a valued member of the party. He possessed unusual vitality, and was capable of great physical endurance. In religious faith he was a member of the U. P. Church.
