General Notes: Husband - Alexander Patterson


He was one of six brothers, coming from Ireland in 1750, and settled in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, on the Delaware, on adjoining farms.
He located on a farm two miles distant from the Presbyterian church, now Academia, Juniata County, Pennsylvania, where he lived and died.

After reaching Bucks County, Pennsylvania, in 1745 he spent some time there, but before the year 1778, came to Tuscarora valley, in what is now Juniata County, where he purchased land and spent the remainder of his life.
