RECENT DEATHS.
Mrs. Esther L. Carringer,
Mrs. Esther L. Carringer died on Monday afternoon at 1:40 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harley Bell, after an illness of about 10 days. Mrs. Carringer had been in failing health for some time but on December 13 suffered a stroke.
She was born on May 23, 1850, near Waterford, Pa., the daughter of Stephen and Barbara King. Mrs. Carringer was a member of the First Evangelical church.
She is survived by the following children: Mrs. Bell and W. E. Carringer, of this city; O. M., of New Vernon; Mrs. W. A. Baker and Mrs. H. L. Cain, of Cleveland; Mrs. William Rowe, of Greenville. Another son, Martin, died 14 years ago and Mr. Carringer died six years ago.
The funeral services will be held on Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the Bell home, Prospect Park and will be private. Rev. B. E. Coleman will be in charge and interment will follow in the Franklin cemetery.
Friends may call any time up until noon on Wednesday.
