General Notes: Husband - Aaron Carmichael




He was a farmer in Worth Township, Mercer County, Pennsylvania, throughout his lifetime. A Democrat by political  convictions, he refused office, but was influential in the councils of his party. He was a member of  the Methodist Episcopal Church, and for more than twenty years led the singing.
