General Notes: Husband - John Orville Stright

---

After attending the Sheakleyville, Pennsylvania, High School he worked for the United States Steel Corporation until he enlisted in the army on April 18, 1917. He served in Company B Mine Co., Fort Rodman, New Bedford, Massachusetts. Battery C. 66 Artillery C. A. C. A. E. F. Ammunition. He was mustered out March 18, 1919.
After his army service he returned to work with the United States Steel Corporation for ten years and the Sharon Steel Company for 29 years and 6 months. For 30 years he served as an agent for the Grange Mutual Casualty. They lived in Sharon from 1919 to 1923 when they moved to Hartford Twp., Trumbull County, Ohio.
John retired from Sharon Steel in 1964. He was a member of the United Presbyterian Church at Sharon.
