General Notes: Husband - Jonathan Douthitt

He was educated in the schools of his native town, and when a young man learned the stone-cutter's trade, which he followed to good advantage a number of years. Later on he purchased a farm in Big Beaver township, and moved into what is now Lawrence County in 1848, although at that time it was a part of Beaver County. In that district he spent the remainder of his years in agricultural pursuits.
