He worked for years as a telegraph operator for the Pennsylvania Railroad. Later he was employed as a barber.

BODY TO ARRIVE TONIGHT.
Death of C. L. Campbell Was Very Sudden.
The body of C. L. Campbell, whose death occurred Thursday morning at Turtle Creek, will arrive today on the 5:51 train on the Pennsylvania. The body will be accompanied by C. E. Wertman, who went to Turtle Creek yesterday, Mrs. C. L. Campbell, two sisters, a brother and a sister-in-law.
Death was due to heart failure. Mr. Campbell became ill Wednesday afternoon but his condition was not thought serious until a few minutes before he died.
The body will be taken to the Wertman home and funeral services will be conducted by Rev. T. J. Barlett, assisted by T. W. Pearson at the house Monday, probably at 2 o'clock.
