General Notes: Husband - Jacob Shoop

He was a member of an old Pennsylvanian family, which has been associated with the traditions and life of the state, especially the western part of it. The family came to Freeport, Armstrong County, in the early pioneer times. It is not known whether this man was born before or after the coming of the family to Freeport, but it is certain that he lived a large portion of his life in that town.
