General Notes: Husband - Lafayette Budd

He grew to manhood in Sharon, PA, and obtained his education in the village schools of the borough. In February, 1850, he went to California, where he spent twenty years in the gold regions. He returned to his early home in 1870, and thereafter was engaged in farming and dealing in real estate. Mrs. Budd was a member of the Episcopal Church. He was a Democrat in politics.
