General Notes: Husband - John L. Shannon


He was born in Connoquenessing township, Butler County, PA, attended the pioneer schools of his neighborhood, and was reared a farmer, which business was his life vocation. He was a member of the Methodist Epis­copal church and held the offices of steward and trustee in the church for a great number of years, and was one of the pioneer members of that church in Connoquenessing township.
