General Notes: Husband - Jacob Bylhymer


The founders of the American branch of this family were Christian and Jacob Bylhymer, who emigrated from Wurtemberg in 1763, and settled in Northampton County, Pennsylvania, in the vicinity of Nazareth. Jacob and his family, which consisted of six children, moved to Rockingham County, Virginia, near Brock's Gap, and later moved to Uniontown, Fayette County, Pennsylvania.
