General Notes: Husband - Frederick Byers


He came from France and settled in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. He spelled his surname "Boyer". [HFC 1887, 770]

He was a native of Germany, whence he emigrated to America with his father. He died prior to the war for Independence, in Derry township, then Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. He was a substantial farmer, and a man of prominence in frontier times. He had six or seven daughters, and one son.
