General Notes: Husband - Andrew Byers


He was a lifelong resident of Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, residing in Mount Pleasant township, near what was later the Hecla Coal Works, and there he successfully operated an extensive farm. He was a member of the Presbyterian church, and a Republican in politics.
