General Notes: Husband - Henry Shanor, Sr.

He was born in Maryland, removed to Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania, after reaching his maturity, and about 1798 settled in Butler County, purchasing 200 acres of land in Muddy Creek township where George Flinner and William Barkley would later live. On this farm he built his cabin and resided until his death. He and his wife were members of the Lutheran church.
