General Notes: Husband - John Byers

---

Soon after his marriage he purchased a two hundred acre farm in Findlay township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, clearing the same and erecting a log house, which he later replaced by a substantial brick structure. He and his wife lived in that home until their deaths. Both were members of the Presbyterian Church, while in political conviction he was a Whig.
