General Notes: Husband - Bryan McSwiney
He came to Quebec, Dominion of Canada, in May, 1827, and to the United States in the same year. He engaged as foreman on the Pennsylvania canal, with Peter Ritner, for four years. He was with Col. H. B. Packer for nearly two years. He then came to Indiana County, Pennsylvania, and purchased property.
