General Notes: Husband - William Crawford

He was born in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, where he spent his early life and received his schooling. When a young man he settled in Armstrong County, buying a farm at Cresswell, in Perry township, where he passed the rest of his life, dying there at the advanced age of eighty-six years. He became a large land owner, his holdings including considerable oil lands, and was widely known, having served twenty years as a justice of the peace. The area was all wild when he settled there, bears and other wild animals being numerous, and he cleared the property on which he continued to make his home until his death. In politics he was a Republican, in religion a member of the M. E. Church.
He and his wife became the parents of twelve children, five of whom were still living in 1914; Mrs. Storey was the fifth of this family in the order of birth.

General Notes: Wife - Jemima Burford

She died at the age of eighty-two years and was buried in the same cemetery as her husband.
