General Notes: Husband - Michael Mierley


He moved from Pipe Creek settlement, Carroll County, Maryland, to Trough Creek Valley, Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania, about the year 1794, and bought the farm first settled by John Dean. This settlement was on the waters of Little Trough Creek a short distance northeast of the of the location of the later village of Calvin.
