General Notes: Husband - Andrew Bryson


He emigrated to America from Ireland, and Oct. 29, 1799, purchased of Hugh Rankin one hundred and seventy-three acres in North Union township, Fayette County, Pennsylvania. He lived and died upon the place.

He was the first of the large family of Brysons to come to America. He settled in Fayette County, Pennsylvania, in 1799, coming from Ireland. The Brysons are of Scotch and Irish descent.
